Angels

Today I have been counting my blessings which has also
enabled me to slip in a blatant little plug for my latest design.
Eyes right and you will see it sitting in pride of place
atop the side bar.

Bet they're not always little angels.

Whilst counting said blessings my thoughts veered off at a tangent
as they so often do and I started instead to count all the
kind souls who have come to my rescue of late or
who have bouyed me up with their words of encouragement.
Thank you!

You're all angels in your own, unique, individual ways.
Yes, I know Anna - tautology rears it's ugly head again -
smack on the wrist, I won't do it again.

I chose this one for the six pack.

Hence my chosen theme of Angels.
Just call me angel of the morning angel, just touch my cheek
before you leave me - sorry, someone left that portal into
the sixties open again and I slipped through for a
moment.  I may even nip back later, it was fun.

This picture has been in Rodney's family for as long as he can remember.

Where were we?  Angel "squtatioms".  Another typo but
I Googled it anyway only to be asked, "Do you mean quotations?"
It's all getting a bit spooky when your search engine
seems to be able to read your mind.

Jennifer as a child.
"And while Luce dreamed below of the most glorious wings
unfurling - the likes of which she'd never seen before -
two angels in the rafters shook hands." - Kate Lauren, Fallen.

Had to slip in a fallen one just to maintain a balance.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing
that some have entertained angels without
knowing it."  - King James version.

"Iron Wings" - the new Angel , Islington.

"God will reward you" he said "You must be an angel since
you care for flowers,"  - Victor Hugo,
"and the old Long Dog woman." - me.

  1. Julia, you more than deserve all the kindnesses that come your way. Your humour and wit have enlivened my days more often than I can count. I suspect that you masquerade as an angel upon occasion. Cheers! MIPat
